The Planning Area (PA) 6 facilities consist of 2.2 and 3.5 MG partially buried reservoirs, Zone 4 to 6 and Zone C to D booster pumping stations and several thousand feet of 20-inch and 24-inch transmission mains. The Zone 4 to 6 Potable Water Pumping Station consisted of four (4) 125 HP pumps with a firm capacity of 4,000 GPM. The masonry block structure also housed the Zone C to Zone D Recycled Water Pumping Station and backup power generation for all pumps. A sodium hypochlorite system was also located on the site. |

This station contains four (4) 125 HP and one (1) 40 HP vertical turbine pumps with a firm capacity of 3,000 GPM. All pumps are fitted with variable frequency drives. The architectural masonry block station also houses a 500 KW backup generator, sodium hypochlorite generator, surge tank and complete instrumentation, controls and telemetry. |

DBE conducted a siting analysis study and preliminary design prior to design of this 1,500 GPM, three (3) 150 HP pump facility. The project includes provisions for future expansion of the CMU block building located adjacent to a hospital. The building design and interior construction materials were specific for maximum noise attenuation. A liquid chlorination system is also included in the facility. |
