DBE provided planning, design and construction support for the addition of an onsite sodium hypochlorite generation and reservoir management system at this existing 12 MG reservoir. The sodium hypochlorite generation system equipment is housed within a custom designed 16-foot by 24-foot CMU building with stucco finish and clay tile roof. The reservoir management system delivers sodium hypochlorite and ammonia to two (2) submersible mixing pumps suspended at separate locations within the reservoir to maintain a chlorine residual of one PPM. |

DBE provided feasibility studies, treatment alternative analysis, preliminary design, final design and construction support for the construction of a new 4.0 MGD potable water treatment plant. The source water for this plant is taken from Irvine Lake, and the water is a mixture of local runoff and MWD imported raw water. This is the primary source of water for this district. |
