DBE provided the design for a storm drain system in conjunction with preparation of construction plans for two (2) reservoirs and an access road. The design included 1,300 LF of 24-inch RCP to convey site drainage and flow from reservoir drains and overflow piping to an existing channel. Outlet velocity was controlled by design of velocity control rings in the storm drain, installation of a rubber diaphragm check valve on the outlet pipe and construction of rip rap in the channel. |

DBE was responsible for the design of a storm drain system in conjunction with preparation of construction plans for two (2) reservoirs and an access road. The design includes 700 LF of 24-inch RCP to convey site drainage and flow from reservoir drains and overflow piping to a rip rap outlet. |

DBE designed 22 storm drain culverts in conjunction with the design of a relocated treatment plan access road over 4 miles in length. A complete hydrologic analysis and sizing of the culverts for 25-year storms was included in the scope of work. The culverts ranged from 18-inch to 72-inch in diameter with single, double and triple barrel configurations in order to minimize excavation depths at sewer pipeline crossings. The design also included several reinforced concrete box culverts as well as rip rap energy dissipater outlets and gabion outlet structures. |
