This project includes nine (9) sites requiring catch basins, weirs, pipelines and valves; Three (3) of the sites require pump stations. The site has heavy vehicular and pedestrian Traffic, and will require coordination with the client, business and residential properties. Additionally, there are complex utility conflicts that must be mitigated. |

DBE’s experienced staff have prepared and processed a variety of storm water erosion and pollution control plans and other permitting related to projects we have designed and those designed by others. |

DBE was responsible for the planning, design and permitting of this 22,000 LF, 36-inch trunk sewer located adjacent to Aliso Creek within a county regional park. DBE staff coordinated every aspect of the alignment selection and design with County Parks, CA Fish and Game, US Fish and Wildlife and Corps of Engineers. An outside firm was brought in to finalize permitting and mitigation requirements with the group of agencies. DBE staff was involved all aspects of the project, and was responsible for translating vague compromise agreements that serve to protect Aliso Creek, and transcribing the information into the construction documents for agency approval. |
